About the client:
Our client is a Fortune 500 company and one of the world's largest real estate services and investment firms. Their dedicated Enterprise 'Global Workplace Solutions' department deliver industry-leading project management, facilities management, advisory and transaction services across all asset types for a broad range of renowned clients across the globe.
About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Lead Counsel for the dept. and as a senior member of the team, this role will entail a full range of legal, risk and governance issues integral to the facilities management and projects services across the EMEA region. More specifically, the role will be responsible for supporting the Project Management business for the Enterprise clients as they work towards project completions, from supporting on all aspects of deal negotiation, terms, complex outsourcing and management contracts and providing input on all commercial elements of the deals. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to help support more junior members and conduct legal training sessions when required.
The ideal candidate will be 8+ PQE and have strong experience of independently negotiating complex contracts and transactions, specifically in relation to project management contracting. You will require a demonstrable knowledge and experience of working with projects standard industry contracts (e.g. JCT, FIDIC, NEC4, etc), as well as having procurement and supplier sourcing experience. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop solid relationships with all key stakeholders and be confident working in a fast-paced environment and to tight timescales, including accommodating different time zones on global transactions.
