About The Role
You will be involved in providing legal advice to a wide range of clients such as global and national insurers and underwriters, SME's, health sector agencies, private clients, and public owned entities you will be working in a team-based environment with a mix of industrial relations, health and safety, discrimination, and employment law matters, covering both litigation and advisory services. This role will also include EPL work for the insurers to the clients.
You are an effective communicator and a highly organized individual who enjoys taking the initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in workplace relations' ideally in a reputable law firm or from in-house.
You can demonstrate -
- An understanding and knowledge of Australian employment law;
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the Fair Work Commission a Federal Court processes and procedures;
- Non-contentious employment experience; and
- The ability to run your own caseload.
