Our client, a FTSE 100 global medical equipment and technology multinational, is looking for an talented commercial lawyer to join their team. The role will be based in Watford, but with hybrid working available (1-2 days a week in the office ).

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Legal Director, you will support the Global teams by reviewing, negotiating and managing a range of contracts with key vendors as well as supporting on a broad range of operational commercial matters, including global procurement agreements as well as IT and Operations matters. Further, you will benefit from the opportunity to advise key internal stakeholders on a variety of legal and compliance matters across clinical, regulatory, quality assurance, supply chain, customer and logistics.

The Person

Ideally, you will have 3+ years PQE at a reputable law firm and/or in a comparable in-house environment, having gained varied experience of commercial contracting and with an understanding of B2B requirements. Experience working in or having an interest in the life sciences or manufacturing sectors would be desirable but is not essential. You will need to be confident in decision making, demonstrate a passion for the business and have an ability to maintain important business partner relationships across multiple internal departments.
