An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Counsel to join an expanding biotech company who, having recently concluded another successful round of funding, require further support in its small legal team as demand for their services grows rapidly. In this newly created position, you will advise on a broad range of legal matters but with a core focus on commercial contracts and a variety of IP issues.

About the Company;

Reporting to the General Counsel & Chief of Staff, a good depth of commercial and contract experience will be needed to join an innovative business that is dynamically altering the way synthetic DNA is produced. Having grown exponentially and with funding in place to grow its manufacturing capacity at its state-of-the art campus, as well as support further R&D and other growth initiatives, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the business.

About You;

You must be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE. Ideally you will have experience working in either the biotech, life sciences or pharmaceuticals industry, either in-house or as part of a specialist private practice team. The role requires an enthusiastic and confident candidate with a pro-active approach. The ability to work flexibly and autonomously in a fast-moving environment is also necessary.

Alongside a competitive salary, the company also offers a good benefits package alongside a bonus or share scheme. Also offering a flexible working policy, you would only be expected to be at the state-of-the-art campus a few days a week.

If this sounds of interest please get in touch a.s.a.p.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

Please note that your personal information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
