With accelerated growth, ongoing launches of new technology-based services involving significant processing of personal data and a business for which data privacy is uniquely relevant as a competitive advantage, they are now upscaling this highly strategic key role and looking for a new

Group Head of Data Privacy (f/m/d)

to be based in their HQ in Geneva (for outstanding candidates other locations might be considered, particularly Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels or London).

The Group Head of Data Privacy, in partnership with the CLO, will drive our privacy strategy, to strengthen it as a competitive advantage across all customer touchpoints and to sustainably mitigate risks, including engaging with our key stakeholders (including the Board) on privacy strategy questions

The role will manage a team of direct reports and have an opportunity to further grow a strong and high-impact Group Privacy team. In addition, the role will guide the strategy, priorities and work of a network of privacy professionals across the Group. The role will be part of a combined Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Regulatory Advocacy team consisting of over 60 lawyers and other professionals, with the vision to be business enablers. It is a highly diverse team representing over 15 nationalities from three continents and with a strong gender balance across all levels of the team, including in the Group Legal Management team of which the role is part of.

The candidate will have demonstrable experience in leading privacy strategy and program implementation in a fast-pace, technology-based consumer services company at a global or regional level.

You will have a Masters degree with at least 15 years of relevant professional privacy experience and a deep understanding of product and service technology and IT. Further you have a proven track record of having a strong positive impact on data privacy strategy and implementation in a fast-paced, technology-based consumer services company and deep experience of analyzing existing and forthcoming regulation to understand and anticipate possible impact on products, services and business operations. Strong track record of impactful project management, drafting and presentation interacting with Senior Management, such as Board of Directors and Board Committees. Fluency in English is a must.

You will be a very good problem solver that can set priorities, make high quality judgements and lead a team to setup decisions in a structured way. You will need a hands-on approach and also maintain the strategic overview. You thrive in a fast-paced international matrix environment with an entrepreneurial mindset where you as a business enabler will be a key player in building up a world-class Privacy function together with a multi-awarded Legal team.
