Our client, an international full-service law firm, is seeking the assistance of an employment solicitor with corporate support experience to join the employment group to assist with a heavy workload for 12-18 months. The candidate will have 4-8+ years' experience as a qualified solicitor and will be able to commit to the firm on a full-time basis for 12+ months, starting soon (September fine).
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in all aspects of respondent employment law including assisting with corporate transactions, general advisory and contentious matters. This role will require you to advise the firm's clients on business transfers and the impact of TUPE as well as on corporate restructuring, collective consultation and wider strategic issues. You will also be running employment tribunal claims, advising on grievances, drafting handbooks and dealing with general advisory matters.
This role would be suitable for those who are able to work full time (5 days per week) for 12-18 months and with a strong academic record.
