Our client is one of the world's leading offshore law firms, with offices across the Channel Islands, Caribbean, and key financial hubs across the globe. As a result of the prominence of the Channel Islands within the global financial eco-system, there is an interesting and varied mix of employment work on the islands.

The partners are now looking for an ambitious associate to join their highly regarded employment team in Jersey. The team acts for a range of employer clients and has a varied practice that encompasses contentious and advisory matters. In addition to exposure to top quality work for a range of high profile clients, the successful candidate will be part of a small team where they work closely with the partners and develop their own careers. In addition to the many professional advantages to this experience, you will also benefit from a lower tax rate and great island lifestyle.

To be considered for this position you will:

  • Be a UK qualified solicitor, or otherwise due to qualify by 15th October 2019
  • Have demonstrable experience of employment law matters
  • Be interested in developing a broad practice on the island
